A new website to refresh our business and show off what we do best.
For many of us, lockdown and the pandemic gave us time to think about our business models and what, if anything, needed to change to reflect new ways of doing things.
We took a lot of time to re-evaluate our image and online presence. Did we need to change the message we give out as a business?
What we do and how we do it hasn’t necessarily changed that much. You know the old adage – If it’s not broken, don’t fix it. Nonetheless, we wanted and needed a new website.
Putting our investment portfolio in the spotlight
A good website should be straightforward and easy to navigate. It should also tell the company’s story and reflect its personality. We wanted to showcase our investment portfolio and our success as London property developers. We also wanted it to engage better with the people we work with most… investors.
Eastbank have been developing and managing property with and on behalf of investors since 1984. We have consistently outperformed many other asset classes, and we thrive on being masters in our field. Today we manage up to £125m worth of property, collecting a rental income of £5m.
Return on Investment
We know the London property market inside out. Our expertise allows us to discover undervalued properties in areas of regeneration that we know will increase exponentially in capital value. We also know that they will deliver lucrative rental income. In short, we know which properties will give ourselves and our investors a return on their money.
Eastbank already work with several investors – both private and banking institutions. However, we are always open to working with new investment partners and collaborators.
Transforming property
Our core business is acquiring, refurbishing and selling well-located properties. They are sympathetically restored, beautifully finished, and we’re proud of the end results. Profit is the icing on the cake, but there’s something immensely satisfying about breathing new life into buildings that have seen better days.
The last two years have been a challenge for us all. However, our work didn’t come to a complete halt. We still traded, and as lockdown restrictions eased, we continued with the construction of our most recent developments. Many of those projects have now reached completion and are now in beautiful condition to be sold or let.
Property demand
Over the past year or so, much has been said about a mass exodus from the city. Did people want to move further out of London to get bigger houses with outdoor space? As more people were working from home, their wants and needs changed, and that would make sense. However, there is still a great demand for city properties – either in central London or in easily commutable suburbs, and we develop in both.
Our properties are finished to an extremely high standard. Yet, we are savvy enough to work to a sensible budget rather than spending an unnecessary amount of cash on fixtures and fittings. We are driven by the opportunity to deliver the best possible financial return on investment rather than simply creating lavish show homes. We’re confident you’ll agree they look elegant and stylish, but if the numbers don’t stack up, what’s the point?
To get a flavour of our work here is a before and after study of a recent Eastbank development at Queen Elizabeth Road, Walthamstow, E17.
This three-bedroom Victorian terraced property was in dire need of restoration to transform it into an attractive home and, ultimately, a more profitable prospect.
Set in the heart of a popular area within an easy commute of the city, this is a prime example of our smart investment portfolio.
